Product Summary:

Annuities are designed to meet long-term needs for retirement income. They provide guarantees against the loss of principal and credited interest, and the reassurance of a death benefit for beneficiaries. The MasterDex X is a fixed index annuity offering a premium bonus and the opportunity for indexed interest.

• Base Annuity
  • 10% premium bonus on premium submitted during the first three contract years
  • 10-year decreasing surrender charge period
  • 8% street compensation up to age 75 (issued to age 85)
    
    
• Simple Optional Income Rider
  • 12% simple interest bonus credited to the Simple Withdrawal Value every year a withdrawal is not taken
  • If any withdrawal or RMD is taken in a year, the 12% is not added to the income value that year
  • Cost is 50 BPS
    
    
• Simple Optional Death Benefit Rider
  • 6% simple interest will be credited to the guaranteed minimum death benefit
    every year a withdrawal is not taken
  • Cost is 20 BPS; must have income rider attached
    
    

If your client plans to begin lifetime income payments immediately, they should not purchase the Simple Death Benefit Rider because they will not receive any simple bonuses, and it will provide no additional benefit to their beneficiaries.

Guarantees are backed by the financial strength and claims-paying ability of the issuing company. Bonus annuities may include higher surrender charges, longer surrender charge periods, or other restrictions not included in annuities that do not have a bonus feature.
